Mindfulness Community Education for High School Students and Guidance and Counseling Teachers

Some events that occur in a adolescence's life can be source of stress. Stress could cause physical and psychological disorders. resilience allows person to avoid the negative effects Objective this community education activity was provide initial information about mindfulness as way self-empowerment improve stress high school students identify level determine need for further training. The participants were guidance-and-counseling teachers. Education given teachers through online meeting platform. Before session, asked voluntarily fill out Brief Resilience Scale questionnaire participants' resilience. At end education, practice session given. Identification showed 277 who filled questionnaire, 27.2% had low levels, 72.2% normal 0.4% levels. percentage respondents with decreased increasing age (31.5% adolescents, 22.2% young adults, 10.2% adults). In teacher’s group, 10.71%, 87.50%, 10.71% low, normal, resilience, respectively. student’s 68.33% 31.67% A higher adolescents require follow-up. This revealed importance increase which have an impact on improving learning quality, especially nation's next generation.
